The truth is, I saw the Retrophone at Dimensione first. They sell there for 1875, and they’re really sturdy. The ones at SM are dirt-cheap ones for 400 pesos, and it’s so light I feel like it’s a toy. Still, given that I’m basically partially deaf (thanks to using earphones for four hours a day for the last two years–at full volume), this retrophone is actually handy when I take calls from my cellphone–at home. I’d be caught dead using that outside the house, because pretty as it may look, the thing is quite high on the ridiculous scale. Hee. :)
