Like a handful of people on the planet, I love stationery. I love colors and paper and how it’s matte and then–we get to write on it! Unfortunately here in the Philippines, there aren’t that much stores that cater to this fad. Sure National Bookstore exists, but when you buy there, you and practically a thousand more people have the same thing you just bought. Personally speaking, I (barely) know a price tag when it comes to things like these. For stationery and notebooks (obviously), the sky is the limit.
So, you can call me a lucky banana when I went online I saw this store online called Papertrail. It’s a store solely dedicated to the pretty, the beautiful, and the colorful… pieces of stationery. Best of all, it’s located right smack near the mall-centric side of Makati, so it is worth dropping by if you’re into this thing.
And, of course, I bought some things:
It’s a Galison stick-it set. Over at Fully Booked this sells for Php420. I got this for Php95.
Score!
…and since Mom’s been looking for a good address book, I also bought her one.
Galison, as well.
In the end, Mom liked all the stuff I bought, she said, “Why don’t I just keep all of these for myself?” And I let her. (My Mom gets it her way most of the time.) I don’t mind much; I’m heading back to that shop sometime soon (*ahem* pay day *ahem*) anyway.
I was half-hyperventilating enough over the fact that Galison and KnockKnock stuff were on sale, but then they added a few little things to my bag. I squeed with so much joy.
Blank notebook + Monkey charm.
This shop has totally won me over. :)

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!
*incoherent spazzing*
I’m not familiar with Makati though. :((
Oh, it’s pretty easy to get there. :) Go to Greenbelt, and then you can ask the guards where Hotel Celeste/Lao building is. Nasa Pasay Road siya, malapit sa EDSA. You won’t get lost. [If you do, comment again and I'll try to tell you how to get there in as much detail as I could.] :)
The sale is up until the end of February ah. If I could spend more on my paycheck for the stickies, I would, but I’m still waiting for pay day. Hnggg. /impatient banana
